The Anglo-Argentine Society

Registered Charity in the United Kingdom No. 208002

Based in London, Great Britain, The Anglo-Argentine Society has as its principal objectives to generate and develop relationships between the people of Argentina and Great Britain. The Society, which has been active for over 50 years, achieves its goals through the organization of events of an Argentine cultural nature mainly in London, thereby giving people in the United Kingdom a better understanding of what Argentina and its people are really like. It also serves as a social liaison point for many British people who at one time had links with Argentina.

The Anglo-Argentine Society, which was founded in 1948, has around 900 members, and includes many companies whose interests extend to Argentina amongst its Corporate Members. Members pay an Annual Subscription according to the type of membership. The Society is non-political and tries to achieve maximum harmony between Argentina and Great Britain, no matter what politics exist in, or between, either country.
